About The KB Studio
Having been part of a flooring business since the 60’s, The KB Studio became an independent kitchen and cabinet design business in 2003.
We have worked with many homeowners, contractors and home builders over the years as a responsible, reliable and imaginative partner.
In 2009, The KB Studio relocated our showroom from Aurora to Centennial to be closer to most of our clients and projects. Our new showroom reflects many of today’s newest materials and design trends.
In 2012, we expanded to Boulder with a complete design center, displaying a full array of cabinets, countertops, decorative plumbing, door hardware and tile. It is truely the only showroom in northern Colorado that allows you to select all of your products in one place.

We have used The Kitchen & Bath Studio for a number of years and Tom has always taken care of my needs with diligence and care. We have done everything from small to large, simple to custom and countertops from laminate to granite and I have been pleased at every turn. I am often called by other cabinet showrooms to bid on my work but I send each of them away and use The Kitchen & Bath Studio exclusively.

The KB Studio Staff
Phil Iwane, Senior Designer
Phil has over 15 years of design experience including complete coordination of plumbing fixtures and tile. From grand kitchens and new construction to small bathrooms and remodels there is very little Phil hasn't seen or experienced. When not in the showroom he can often be found on some river fly fishing.
Andrew Williams, Senior Designer
Andy has been working with cabinetry for 15 years now and knows how to get the most out of every cabinet. He is an excellent sketcher and can draw up creative and unusual drawings to provide his clients with several concepts. A proud father of 2, his kids keep him busy and young.
Laura Pask, Designer - Centennial
Our newest designer, Laura has proven to be a very bright and energetic designer who is an excellent listener. Her ability to grasp what you want and develop a unique and personal design while maximizing your investment dollars is impressive. You will find her chasing her 2 boys and hiking during her free time.
Mike Boylston, Plumbing & Hardware Specifier - Boulder
Mike has 16 plus years working with door hardware and plumbing fixtures and fittings. You think it's easy picking a faucet, a sink and a tub? Well, guess again, the details, compatibility and behind the wall components, not to mention the coordination with the contractor and construction schedule make this a task for expereienced and detailed individuals. A drummer in a local band helps balance his life between the detailed and creative.
Kevin Welch, Plumbing & Hardware Specifier - Boulder
Kevin has an extenisve background in plumbing and door hardware. He has worked closely with homeowners and contractors on selecting and specifiying fixtures and fittings. His clients are very impressed with his listening skills and his down to earth suggestions.
Jen Grant, Tile Designer & Plumbing Specifier - Boulder
Jen has been very active in the plumbing and tile industry and has close relationships with leaders in the industry. With her 8 years of experience helping clients is a combination that is rare to find and is very beneficial to everyone who works with Jen.
Nickole Denney, Project Coordinator - Boulder
Nickole is new to the Boulder/Denver area but is a master of details and organization. Traits requried as a Project Coordinator. Making sure our orders are promptly and accurately placed, delivered and serviced is critical to your overall project. Her background in construction helps her understand the importance of being on time and accurate.
Rachel Walaskay, Project Coordinator - Centennial
Rachel knows cabinets and floor plans as well as anyone. Responsible for placing, tracking and coordinating the delivery of cabinets her understanding of cabinet construction is very helpful. She provides one more quality control check and review before orders are palced with our cabinet makers. This prevents costly errors and delays for our clients.
Jennifer Daves, Office Administrator- Centennial
Every organization needs someone to hold it all together. Jennifer's support is critical in allowing our designers focused on client support and designing. She also offers a friendly smile and greeting when you walk into our Centennial showroom.
Al Davison, Senior Designer - Centennial
A native of Colorado, Al has 30 years of combined experience in the construction industry. The last 15 yeas have been spent designing cabinets and kitchens. His background includes working as an on-site construction supervisor, remodeling contractor and estimator. These experiences allow Al to design a more efficient and workable kitchen, while keeping in mind the actual field conditions and limitations. His love for coffee keeps him moving along – cheerfully.
Tom Deseck, Senior Designer - Centennial
Tom puts his strong Midwest work ethic to work every day. With meticulous attention to detail, he works very closely with designers, contractors and homeowners to blend their preferences into a very cost effective project. With over 22 years of experience, he is very creative with maximizing space usage and ergonomic layouts. Tom has a broad knowledge of plumbing, electrical and other facets impacting room design and cabinetry.
Ed Kuh, Owner
Having spent most of his career in the bicycling industry, Ed developed a very strong appreciation of product design. The kitchen and cabinet field builds on this foundation as there are specific parameters which need unique one-of-a-kind solutions. Ed still enjoys riding his bike, though. Working to support the designers and giving them the tools they need to help our clients is his primary objective.
